Mini's On a Mission - Miniature Horses

We bring these 3 wonderfully small horses to your child's birthday party, school or church function, community event or any type of event with curious young children who love super cute little animals!

The "mini" horses are only about 28" to 33" high and are perfect for smaller children who might be intimidated by 'big" horses or ponies. The kids will enjoy a highly interactive and educational session in horse grooming, feeding and equine behavior. The "Minis" are very clean, well mannered, and have been accustomed to working with children since they were very young. We bring a white PVC linked-fence that can be shaped to fit any size yard or grassy space and the "Minis" are moved one-by-one from the custom-fitted miniature horse trailer into the white corral for the start of the party or event.

Birthday Parties:
The typical format for birthday parties is to begin by sharing some information with the party guests about the horses and how the children should behave while near the "Minis". Then, 3 children at a time enter the fenced-in area with the professional horse trainer and the 3 "Minis" and each child gets a chance to pet the horses, touch their mane, and become comfortable being near the animals. Special attention is given to any child who might be shy or scared so that they too quickly learn to love the tiny horses!

The professional horse trainer also talks with the kids about what the horses like to eat and how they need to be groomed. Then three at a time, the children come back into the fenced-in area to brush the horses and to feed them a carrot. By this time, the kids are usually very comfortable with the miniature horses and can take them for a walk around the corral. If the children are a bit older (4+) and it's in a safe, non-busy area, the trainer may let them take the horse for a short walk by themselves outside of the fenced-in area.

Because the horses are so small, they really can't do lots of rides for the children, especially for the bigger children. Most of the bigger kidsunderstand this when they see the size of the horses. However, the birthday child, if he/she isn't too big, usually gets to go for an escorted ride on the "Mini" and sit upon an adorable 9" miniature saddle. The horse rides are determined on a case-by-case basis, factoring in the number of children, their ages/sizes, and the time period for the performance.
Price: $350 for 1 hour or $450 for 2 hours**

School or Community Events:
The format for the "Minis" at schools or community events is very similar to that used at birthday parties, except given the higher volume of children the interaction does not include feeding the horses.
Price: $175 per hour, with a minimum of 3 hours**

Requirements:

Space - minimum of a 10’ x 10’ area – bigger is better Grassy Area - the "Minis" are best when they can be on a grassy area
