About Malia In Hawaii

Artistic Director, Choreographer, Professional Performer and Instructor

Born and based out of Oahu Hawaii, Malia is one of Hawaii's most highly demanded prime performers.? Her energy and style is quite popular and has taken her to many great productions and events.

Malia performs weekly in restaurants and clubs, offers weekly ongoing dance classes, workshops and private lessons.

Malia began her journey as an entertainer at a young age.? She has studied many forms of dance, from hip-hop, to ballroom, to salsa, jazz and even hula.

Malia also engages in various forms of martial arts such as Tai Chi, Aikido, and Tae Kwon Do.

She was perfected her style of being able to fascinate and captivate all?audiences.?She is the owner, choreographer, and artistic director for the Belly Dancers in Paradise Dance Company.? She is also part owner of the Hawaii Belly Dancer Magazine publication.?

Belly Dancers In Paradise was founded by Malia in Hawaii in 2005 on the island of Oahu. The BDP Dance Company consist of women from the ages of 16-60 years old! From 1st time entertainers to professionals performers.

Our goal as a Performing Dance Company is to expose Hawaii to the Middle-Eastern Dance & Culture and to share our passion for the this dance with the world!??

We strive to move you by our enthusiastic interpretation of the music!

Here are different types of shows that we can offer:

Show Package: Professional solo performance (10-15 minutes) Includes intriguing upbeat intro, exciting veil dance, drum solo, and fun finale. Great show for a short but sweet occasion! $175 Have us surprise and entertain someone on their special day at work, on lunch break and etc. Entertainment Package: Professional solo performance (20-25 minutes) Includes many different styles of Middle Eastern Dance, exciting intro, slow veil dance, drum solo, and fun finale. Excellent for bigger engagements like weddings! $300 Performance Package: Professional trio performance (20-25 minutes) Includes Solos, duets and extra entertaining numbers in many different styles! Perfect for those very special events! $400 Party Package: Professional solo performance (15-20 minutes) and group lesson (20-25 minutes) Designed specially for Bridal showers or Ladies night out! (hip scarves will be provided!) $325

$50 Deposit Policy

To confirm your booking a belly dancer for the event, please send a check or money order for the $50 amount. This deposit reserves your performance time and location and is non-refundable. The remainder of the fee may be paid at the time of the performance or in advance, which ever is more convenient for you.
