Black Moon Band is an award winning group of talented musicians who have
proven that it's possible to push the envelope of country music while
staying grounded in its roots. Serving up a new blend of Country, Rock
and
R&B, their sound is built on a spirit of fun and high energy that has
thrilled audiences at fairs, festivals, corporate functions, private
parties, concert halls, and night clubs across New England for the last
ten
years.
The variety of Country Music ranges from Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, Vince Gill to Patsy Cline. Black Moon

Best Country Female Vocalist of New England in 1999 & 2000. Black Moon won best Country Band of New England in 2000. Black Moon also won a * Rising Star award for Vocal Duo from The Country Music Organization of America which was held in Las Vegas on October 17, 1999. Lead Singer, Annie Wilson has sung with such living legions as B.B. King and Johnny Cash. In 1998 Annie was chosen by Country 92.5 FM to sing the National Anthem at the 1998 Great American Music Fest where she warmed up the stage before John Michael Montgomery and was followed by Patty Loveless. She and her band performed at the ct.now.com Meadows Music Center in Hartford, CT. for the 1999 & 2002 Great American Music Fest warming up for National headliners, Brooks n Dunn & Toby Keith!
