Elena Rinehart has been a psychic entertainer since 1993. She reads tarot cards and palms in an entertaining, positive and often amusing way. People love to find out about themselves and she is always one of the most popular entertainers at any event.

She has recently relocated to Los Angeles from Manhattan, where she worked all kinds of events including - Bar/Bas mitzvahs, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, Halloween, Christmas and valentines parties, corporate events, fashion shows, magazine openings, barbecues, horseshoes, art exhibits, cruises, college sponsored mixers and graduations, singles parties/dances at cocktail lounges and restaurants, even the Mensa society social networking party.

She can dress as a gypsy fortuneteller, a costume to match the theme of your party, an evening gown or cocktail dress

She started doing readings using a regular card deck as a teenager - which she learned from her Hungarian ballet teacher - he had been taught by gypsies as a child in Budapest. She discovered she has an affinity for the cards and continued to read them using a regular deck of cards until it became a bit too much knowledge. She got a little spooked because she didn’t know how to handle the information so she quit doing any readings at all for about 10 years. During that time she began a study of metaphysics, philosophy and the occult. She applied and was accepted to the Arcane School (run by the Lucius Trust, they have offices in New York City, Geneva and London) their teachings were based on the writings of Alice Bailey. She read Carl Jung and spent 3 years in Jungian Dream analysis at the Jung Institute in New York City. She read Teillard de Chardin, Spinoza, Marcus Aureilius, the Course in miracles - (attending several of MaryAnn Williamsons' lectures at Town Hall in new York City),Louise Hay, Depak Chopra,Jane Roberts "Seth" materials and many others. Her latest interest is in the writings and lectures of Abraham by Jerry and Esther Hicks.

Elain had been told by her Hungarian ballet teacher that to read the tarot deck - the cards had to come to you "unbidden". It was the universe’s way of saying you were ready. You couldn’t just go buy yourself a deck. The universe had to "give" them to you in some way. so one day, she is taking the garbage from her apartment on the 42nd floor in midtown Manhattan, she opens the door to the compactor room - and there sitting on the floor in a box, as if it was meant for her, is an old deck of tarot cards, dog-eared from use.

So she started reading the cards again, only this time she was using the tarot deck. And she’s been reading them ever since.

Elian is a professional actor. She began her training in the high school program at the NC School of the Arts, continued there through college. She has a BFA with a major in Acting and a minor in dance. She also trained in England at the Rose Bruford Academy of Speech and Drama, in Poland she trained with Jerzy Grotowski and in NYC she studied with Mira Rostova (a native of Russia, she learned her technique from Stanislavsky), Ellen Burstyn and many others. She is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio.
