Magic Bob started doing magic on his fifth birthday, when his grandparents presented him with his first magic kit. Throughout his childhood he entertained family and friends. His allowance was always saved up for much anticipated visits to the local magic shop. In 7th grade Bob received his first "professional" booking as a magician when he performed for a Boy Scout dinner. A few years later he was hired by Burger King to perform magic at several Florida area restaurants in character as the Burger King. Yet, even with these crowning successes, his training didn't stop there. Bob went on to attend Louis Tannen's Magic Camp in New York, to attend the best magic conventions, and to train with several of the world's greatest magicians.

Bob has been an active member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (the original IBM) since 1982. He has served as President, Treasurer, Secretary, and more for his local chapter, "Ring 21." He has also written many an article for and served as editor of the Ring's newsletter..
