Classic Example is quickly becoming one of the hottest and most seasoned bands on the Southern California club-and-casuals scene, a result of the fact that they come to the stage ready to play the crowd-pleasing songs from the Classic Rock era right through to the contemporary hits of today.

With literally thousands of hours of playing experience among them, the members of this band come from a variety of musical backgrounds combining different levels of formal training and enthusiastic self-taught expertise, all grounded in a deeply felt passion for the great rock, soul, and popular music of the last five decades. With influences ranging from folk to country, from American and British rock to jazz, R & B, and Motown, these players have paid their dues and come fully qualified to rock the house, and keep any crowd entertained and on their feet until the wee hours of the morning!

Up front, keyboardist Lynn Davison – a Berklee College graduate – handles primary lead vocalist chores while guitarist Vic Padilla and bassist Paul Tatto work together to add back-up vocals and multi-part harmonies to the band’s sound. In addition, every set features several opportunities for Lynn to step back and let one of the guys take a lead-vocal spot.
