Nexus is a high-energy Rock Band that plays a variety of Rock & Roll, but centers it's repertoire around the classics of the 70's, 80's and 90's. We could be labeled a top 40 or society band, but we do much more than that.
While playing the most popular dance and party tunes (by such artists as Donna Summer and Aretha Franklin, etc.), we also like to follow in more challenging territory, rockin' it up with excited, syncopated and showy tunes (from bands including Santana and Gloria Estefan), and then really showing off the talent in the band by taking on the more challenging classics such as Blood, Sweat & Tears "Spinning Wheel", Styx "Come Sail Away" and other complex music that is not heard as much today...great classics that in today's world most bands either will not dare attempt or simply cannot handle. We are a band that loves the challenge, and have the ability to bring an unusually wide variety of music to any event, even music beyond Rock & Roll (such as Jazz or Swing) if your guests request it.

What You Get By Booking A Band Through Us:
We represent great bands that play great music, and we manage the bands we represent. If you want Rock & Roll, we'll give you Nexus, and we'll have your group up and dancing all night long. If you want background ambiance, or if you are looking for a great band for cocktails, or if you want a band that can show off their flashy Jazz moves either as background or as a spotlight band, we'll suggest the Choper Jazz Project. If you want to dance to the music of a generation ago, we'll suggest the The Jazz Connection. And, if you can't make up your mind, like it all, or have a guest list that includes people of all ages or backgrounds, we'll arrange for the band to play a bit of everything. In fact, if you have a European audience, we'll provide the ethnic music to fit that crowd exactly as you desire it as well.
The purpose behind this agency is to provide bands that can play the highest quality music, of just about any style, for an audience of just about any generation. We invite you to peruse the various bands we have listed and listen to some of their sound samples so that you can see for yourself.

Entertainment Connection works with both consumer and corporate clients who are looking to book serious, hi-quality bands, where they can find live music without the infusion of midi, effects or electronic assistance. We work with bands that play Classical, classic and contemporary Jazz, Rock & Roll, Folk and Ethnic. We do not work with Rap or Hip-Hop groups.
